What you'll do...
As a member of the InfoSec Risk & Compliance team, the Senior Risk Specialist, Cybersecurity will play a key role in our Global Risk & Compliance program by partnering with the IT organization to help drive continuous improvement in the IT control environment and the SOX compliance program. You will be responsible for leading ITGC transformation & assessment projects across the organization. Also serve as the IT controls subject matter resource for integration of controls in the various developer communities and tools.

The primary focus of this position will be to participate in all aspects of SOX and IT General Controls including but not limited to; planning, risk assessments, documentation, execution, testing, review, and follow up to ensure resolution of any identified issues. This position works with various internal business units and external auditing entities to ensure the appropriate control environments are implemented and maintained to meet regulatory requirements.

Essential Functions of team include:
  • Leverage developer forums to create controls awareness.
  • Maintain and update published compliance control guidance in developer forums/tools.
  • Lead SOX ITGC compliance reviews with business area / engineering teams across the globe.
  • Evaluate global ITGC's to determine effectiveness of controls, identify gaps and implement plan of action to remediate gaps.
  • Help the business area / application teams draft remediation of control gaps found from SOX and ITGC reviews and risk assessments.
  • Influence stakeholders and related affiliates to implement necessary process modifications to meet regulatory needs.
  • Evaluate global platforms/databases/application compared to regulatory requirements.

Minimum Qualifications...

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, information systems, cybersecurity, or related area and 2years' experience in cybersecurity risk or related area at a technology, retail, or data-driven company.
Option 2: 4 years' experience in cybersecurity risk or related area at a technology, retail, or data-driven company.
